We have tried to answer the most common questions.
How long does delivery take?
* Creating time: 3-14 natural days to be hand-painted by professional artist. The work you ordered was created by the artist of the original painting.
* Shipping time: Generally 4-8 days by UPS/FEDEX/DHL
Total time: Therefore, it takes approximately 1 - 3 weeks from placing your order to receiving the artwork.
In the process of creating painting, Artist will show you photos and videos with the painting you ordered. You'll be able to express all your wishes, for example about colors and shades. And artist will make all the necessary changes. Only when you are completely satisfied with your painting, We will express it to you.
Packing
Every Oilartworks piece is packaged with care and follows our standardized, professional process. We know your artwork is precious, so we’ve designed several packaging methods to keep it safe on its way to you:
- Ships in a cardboard box
For large artworks that are stretched or framed, we use strong, protective cardboard boxes. Each piece is supported with plenty of cushioning so it arrives safe, flat, and ready to hang.
- Ships in a crate
For small stretched or framed artworks, or for very large and heavy pieces, we use custom-built wooden crates. These crates are designed for global art shipping, tightly sealed, and packed with materials that keep the artwork securely in place throughout its journey.
- Ships in a tube
For canvas-only orders, your piece will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is especially safe for oversized works and also keeps shipping costs lower. Once it arrives, you can easily have it stretched (placed on wooden stretcher bars) or framed by a local framer.
For works on paper, we highly recommend sending them straight to your framer upon delivery for careful, professional unrolling.
Can I update my order at any point?
Before your order is shipped, you can contact info@oilartworks.com to make changes.
Orders cannot be updated after they have been shipped.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel your order as long as the item has not been shipped. Please contact us at info@oilartworks.com or log into your account to request a cancellation.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, Free shipping all over the world.
What shipping carriers do you use?
Depending on your location and the size of the artwork, we work with reliable carriers such as DHL, FEDE, UPS.
How much does shipping cost?
No shipping fee — shipping is always included in the price, no matter where you live.
Can I have artworks delivered to a different country or to someone else?
We will ship to the address you provided in your order. Typically, we coordinate the delivery date with the recipient whose name you listed. If the artwork is intended as a surprise or gift, please let us know so we can accommodate that.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Hassle-free returns and exchanges.
We will always make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return eligible items within 30 days of receiving an orde or get a FULL refund. Return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
We offer complimentary exchange for damaged item. If you have a damaged item during transportation, we thoroughly apologize, and ask that you send us a message and include your order number and a photo of your damaged artwork.Let us deal with courier companies.we will ship out the replacement just in a few days.

How long does a refund take to process?
Once we receive your returned item, it can take up to 3 business days for us to process the refund.
- For PayPal account holders, it may take up to 3 business days for the transaction to appear in your account.
- For credit card refunds, the transaction may take 7–14 business days to complete, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Lost & Damages.
We carefully pack all paintings in strong paper tubes, and they normally arrive safely. However, in rare cases, damage may occur during shipping.
VERY IMPORTANT: Unpack the package in front of the courier. If the painting is damaged, please follow the steps below:
- Ask the courier to write “the item is damaged/broken” or something similar on the waybill. You may keep the package after both you and the courier confirm the damage.
- Take clear photos of the damaged package (all sides) and the painting itself. Send them to us so we can handle the courier company and arrange a replacement painting immediately.
- If the courier leaves the package at your door and you cannot inspect it in person, skip step 1 and proceed directly with step 2.
- Keep the damaged painting and its packaging until the issue is fully resolved.
What payment methods does Oilartworks accept?
Oilartworks currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept payments made through PayPal.
Q: I don’t have a PayPal account. What should I do?
A: You can still pay with your credit or debit card via PayPal without having a PayPal account. Here’s how:
Click “Check out with PayPal”. You’ll be redirected to PayPal. Instead of logging in, select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”.
Fill in your billing and credit card information.
Enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt.
Click Continue to return to Oilartworks. Your payment is not sent until you click “Submit Order” on Oilartworks.
